Show Services held Wednesday for Mrs. Averett Funeral services were Conducted Con-ducted in the Fourth-Seventh ward chapel, Wednesday, for Mrs. Grace Wignall Averett, 73, widow of Ruel Averett, who died Sunday morning at the Spanish Fork hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, directed direc-ted by Wheeler Mortuary. Mrs. Averett was bom Nov. 14, 1886, in Payson, a daughter daugh-ter of James and Harriett Burt Wignall. She received her education in the schools of Payson and Springville and on Jan. 10, 1907, she Wrried Ruel Averett in Springville. He died in 1958. Mrs. Averett was a member of the LDS Church having been active in Relief Society and Old Folks Committee. She was also a member of the Springville Blackhawk Committee. Surviving are four sons and three daughters: Mrs. Ray (Mabel) Simkins, Mrs. Paul (Fay) Haymond, Mrs. Hardy (Norma) Child, Gene Averett and Dean Averett, all of Springville; Ronald Averett of Delta, Colo., and Blaine Averett Ave-rett of Fullerton, Calif.; 24 grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters, Ernest Wignall of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Gideon (Maggie) Daley of Springville and Mrs. Ella Hatch of Provo. |
