The meeting was held at their lead-er's home, Mrs. Hazel Clyde. June 15, the club held an-other meeting at Mrs. Clyde's and the girls cut out practice articles, choosing either paja-mas, a house coat or shortie night gown. DUP Camp Groups Invited to County Program DUP members of Springville and Mapleton are invited to join with those of South Utah county for an outing next Thursday, June 25, at the City Park in Spanish Fork, announ-ces Council President Gertrude Clements. Luncheon will be at noon fol-lowed by a program at 1 p.m. All camp members over 80 years of age and all past coun-ty captains will be honored during the afternoon. Mrs. Paul Groneman entertained with or-gan music throughout the even-ing and Mrs. LaRie Shell was in charge of the decorations. A beautiful wedding cake in yellow and white cen-tered the table with cover of linen. The couple spent a few days honeymoon in Las Vegas fol-lowing the wedding and recep-tion. Mr. and Mrs. Don Tuttle, nee Miss Kathryn Groneman, whose marriage was an event of early spring, are now at home in Springville. The bride is the former Miss Kathryn Groneman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. La-M- ar Groneman of this city and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Byron Tuttle also of Springville. A lovely reception honored the couple after the wedding at the Third-Nint- h ward church where the couple greeted guests in an archway of ferns and evergreens entwined with yellow snap-dragon- s. The bride was a picture of lovliness in an imported hand-clippe- d lace and nylon pleated tulle over heavy satin pattern-ed with tight fitted bodice and train. Her Queen Ann veil was arranged to a crown of lace with pearl and sequin trim. She carried a bouquet of green cymbidium orchids with yellow rose-bu- and stephanotis. Attired in dark green and carrying bouquets of yellow and white mums were brides-maids Janet Holley, Collette Prothero, Laurel Tuttle and Patsy Warren with Barbara Jensen, matron of honor in a light green shade with white and yellow mum bouquet. All wore white gloves and ear-rings. Best man was Earl Tut-tle, brother of the groom. Others in the line were par- - (doming. Events Boloc Camera Club Roloc Camera club members will meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bish Snelson, 134 Brookside Drive, Sat. night, June 20, beginning at 8:15 p.m. Further selection on slides and movies for the club's showing will be made. Democratic Women Schedule Meeting All Democratic women are urged to attend a meeting Fri-day at 2 p.m., at the home of Mrs. Helen Pace, 655 South Second East. President Margar-et Roberts will preside and Mrs. Klell Child is arranging the program. Mrs. LaRue W. Sanders and two children Donnie and Tod are visiting in Springville from Rosemead, Calif., coming here especially to see her father Willis Weight, who has been confined to a Provo hospital the past eight months and to attend the graduation of her brother Jay Weight from the Utah State University. Her husband Joe L. and two other children, Marilee and Robert will arrive here later this week for a short visit at the Willis Weight home before returning to Rosemead. Mrs. Willis Weight and other members of their family in-cluding daughter LaRue San-ders of Rosemead, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Paul Weight, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Prestwich; also Mrs. Harold Smith of South Pasadena, Calif., were all in Logan Friday and Saturday of last week for the graduation of Jay Weight from the USU. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Weight and family of Yuba City, Cali-fornia are spending an extend-ed vacation in Springville and Salt Lake City with relatives and friends. Also coming from Marysville, Calif, to visit with folks here are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gene Weight and family. They are house guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weight. Mrs. Zola Gogarty has re-turned to Springville from Magna, where she taught school the past year. |
