Show Page Eight THE SPRINGVILLE (UTAH) HERALD J18, 1959 j Miss Judy Ostler Recites Vows With John Robertson in Temple In traditional June wedding rites, John Ro-bertson claimed the lovely Miss Judy Ostler as his bride June 4, in the Salt Lake Temnle. Rav- - mond Clayton performed the ceremony. Immediately after the wed-ding, parents of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robertson, en-tertained at a dinner for the wedding party at the Aviation club in Salt Lake, and corsag-es were given the mothers and grandmothers. ' couple was honored with a re-ception at which the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ostler were hosts in the Third-Nint- h ward church. Standing in an archway of flowers and fern, the newly-wed- s greeted their many rela-tives and friends. The bride was lovely in a floor length gown of ruffled silk net with overskirt and bodice of scal-loped lace, designed with long sleeves and high neck trimmed with seed pearls. Her short veil fell from a crown trimmed to match the pearls in the dress and she car-ried a single white orchid with satin streamers on a white Bible. Attending the bride were Jo-- Ann Daybell as maid of honor and Pat Frandsen, Beverly Ost-ler, Linda Leyshon, Gaylene Roylance and Patsy Ostler,! bridesmaids and Linda Ostler, junior bridesmaid. They wore empire designed gowns with lavendar flowers on a white background and carried white and yellow mum bouquets. Don Robertson, brother of the groom, was best man. Mrs., Elaine Barton and Sharon De-- , Mr. and Mrs. Jack Robertson who are making their home in Springville following recent temple ceremony. She was the former Miss Judy Ostler. Heer were at the guest book and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Snel-so- n and Kent Ostler greeted guests. The bride's mother chose a lavender lace gown with yellow rose corsage and Mrs. Robert-son wore a light green organza with baby orchid corsage. The couple left shortly after the reception on a wedding trip to Montana, Idaho and Wyo-ming and are now at home in Springville. Mason Relatives Schedule Reunion The Mason family reunion will be held June 26, 27, 28, at Kellys Grove, Hobble Creek canyon and all relatives are invited to camp at the recrea-tion site the three days. There will be programs, sports for old and young and picnic lunches under direction of the officers: Mrs. Vivian Averett, president; Alma Full-mer, nt and Valeria Averett, secretary. Sumsion of tnis city and the new arrival is the seventh granddaughter (no grandsons) for Mr. and Mrs. Sumsion. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Davis and daughters Nancy, Cindy and Deon of Idaho Falls, Ida., have returned to their home after a four days visit with Mr. and Mrs. Lee E. Davis and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Boyer and other relatives and friends. They came to attend MIA confer-ence in Salt Lake and during their stay were guests at a turkey dinner given for fam-ily members at the Davis home. Mr. and Mrs. Vein Da-vis and daughters Kathy and Gwen and son Byron of Provo also attended. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown and daughter Judy and son Ray spent last week in Nevada visiting their son and daughter-in- -law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank E. (Teddy) Brown and family. They also visited at Reno, Lake Tahoe and at Squaw Valley where the new winter Olympic project is underway. They were also in Virginia City for the centennial and heard Vice-preside- nt Nixon speak. Mrs. Leona S. Dalby and Mrs. Dewey Williams of Wal-nut Creek, Calif, visited sever-al days this week with Mrs. Dalby's mother, Mrs. Retta Sumsion and Burges Sumsion. They left Tuesday for Boise, Ida. to see Mrs. Dalby's daugh-ter and son-in-la- Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nixon who for-merly lived in Springville. |
