Show Interest Exhibited in Youth Fitness (Continued from Page One.) the education program with summerclasses in subjects which young people cannot take in regular school; (2) to form a Teen-age Council so tha the young people can organize organ-ize and direct the program; (3) to plan activity for all in city recreation in addition to the present program and to encourage greater participation; participa-tion; (4) to assist those who feel left-out for which a program pro-gram to their liking has not yet been devised; (5) to cooperate coop-erate with nearby communities and the county and state to discourage undesirable literature, litera-ture, pictures, movies, TV programs pro-grams and advertising; (6) to do something about part-time employment for young people and to give those who are sincere sin-cere and want to work, an opportunity op-portunity to work; (7) to revive re-vive interest in the concerts at the City Park. At the close of the program, several young people offered their services to the Council in carrying out the program. Council members are urging the cooperation of the general public in stimulating interest in the Youth Fitness program and in placing Springville as the leading community in the Youth Fitness movement. |
