Show Page Twelve THE SPRINGVILLE (UTAH) HERALD December 17, 195 iBvMs flm I fan Tilfis Springville high Red Devil basketeers will meet two op-ponents in the local gym dur-ing the coming week in hopes of improving their win and loss record for pre-seaso- n play. They played the Bingham team last night at Bingham. Friday, Dec. 18 at 3:15 p.m. 2 Red Devils meet Logan here. On Tuesday, Dec. 22, they will entertain the Lehi team in a twin bill starting at 6:15 with the Jayvee game and 8 p.m. for the varsity contest. The Red Devils need both wins to give them any kind of a decent record since their games to date have been most-ly on the loss side. They drop- - ped their Friday game on the home court to Pleasant Grove by a lopsided score when the Grovers dropped them in all over the court. Another reason for special interest in the upcoming home contests is that the league season gets underway this year on Dec. 30 and the final two home contests will quite de-finitely indicate just what the Devils are going to be able to do in league competition.
