A ? - s Editor's Note A series of "Students of the Week" is be-in- g published in the Spring-vill- e Herald, recognizing stu-dents in the senior class of the high school student body. A student-facult- y committee se-lects the student taking into consideration such attributes as citizenship, school service, at-titude and use of capacities. Brenda Anderson Brenda Anderson, winning personality, good organizer, outstanding scholar, the daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson, is one of the stu-dents responsible for the out-standing year that the at Springville High School is enjoying. As president of the Pep club. Brenda is responsible for the school spirit projects of that organization. She also serves as homeroom representative on the student council and enjoys the opportunity to work on school problems. Miss Anderson keeps busy maintaining her scholastic ave-rage which is near the top of v Brenda Anderson V i her class. She- is one of last $ year's Junior Class chosen to take the national scholarship test and is working toward a 5 scholarship for college admit-tanc- e. She would like to at- - tend BYXJ and major in home 5j economics. As a delegate to ij Girl's State, Brenda realizes 5 the individual responsibilities that we all must accept in the j functioning of our government, js Brenda's biggest hobby is i sewing. "I make all my clothes and seem to always have some- - thing ready to make," she said, j She also likes music and en- - j joys the association of her j many friends. ! Miss Anderson includes t church work as an important part of her activities. She is ' a senior Sunday School secre-tary and has earned the Sil-ver Gleaner award and several individual awards for her par-ticipation in programs of the church.
