Conover, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Conover, 157 W. Second Co., Springville, completed the eight week basic Army administra tion course Dec. 4, at Fort Ord, Calif. Conover received training in typing, record keeping and Army clerical procedures. He entered the Army in August 1959 and completed basic training at the fort. A 1954 graduate of. Car-ter and also gave the lesson on Happenings in the Valley. Mrs. Johnson read the remain-der of the life of Alfred Thorpe. The two couples re-cently returned from the trip in which they took many sightseeing tours through-out the south. Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Bulkley send greetings to their Spring-ville friends from Maywood, Calif. Mrs. Bulkley is hoping for a happier year in 1960, having recently been released from her fourth stay in the hospital within the past year. |
