CANYON BRIDGE IN DANGEROUS SHAPE Special to The Tribune. OGDENT, Aug. 22. The bridge over the Ogden river In the canyon, just east of the Hermitage, is in a dangerous condition, condi-tion, according to the announcement made at the sheriff's office today. A general warning was issued to the traveling public pub-lic to avoid passing over the bridge with heavy vehicles, and a deputy sheriff was placed on guard to warn the travelers of the danger. It Is stated that the center stringers of the bridge have broken, and only the two outside beams reman. A heavy load i would cause tho bridge to collapse. The present bridge has been in service about i thirty years. The matter of building a new bridge will be taken up with the state road commission at once. It is probable that a concrete structure will replace the old bridge.
