CONFERENCE HELD ON POST ROAD PROJECTS B. J. Finch, district engineer in the newly organized depart nu-nt of public roads with offices in 01,'den. conferred yesterday with the state highway commission com-mission on the federal post road projects in the slate. Attending the conference were W. N. Friclistad, who will be in charge of the post road work in this state and in Nevada, Ne-vada, and W. VI. Lynch of the San Fran-ci.sco Fran-ci.sco office, who hud charge of all the post road district when it included Utah and Nevada. K. K. Kidder of the office of public roads will talte charge of the forest i-o:uls under the federal aid act and with Frick-stad Frick-stad will so over the district work with the older men. Mr. Finch will return to Salt Lake next Tuesday, when the state roads bids are opened on the construction work on the post roads from Thompson's to Moab and from Moah to La Sal. Hope is expressed hv Mr. Finch that these projects will be brought, to a speedy completion, since they have been in process of construc-I construc-I tion for a number of years.
