Show OGDEN III SEVEHELY HURT Mrs. Ralph H. Hoyt Is Injured In-jured Internally in Automobile Auto-mobile Collision. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Aug. 22. The condition of Mrs. Ralph H . Hoyt, who was injured at 11:30 o'clock last night at Five Points In an automobile collision, Is critical, according to the latest advice from her bedside. Her main injuries are said to be internal. Mrs. Howard E. Goddard was slightly injured in the collision. Mr. Hoyt was severely cut about the face and arms by flying glass, and A. W. Walker was bruised about the face, but Mr. Goddard escaped injury. According to Mr. "Walker, Mr. Goddard was driving his own car, In which were Mr. and Mrs. Goddard and Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt and himself. They were returning to the city from a trip to the hot springs. When they reached Five Points, about three miles north from the center of the city, an automobile crashed into the Goddard God-dard car. All the occupants of the Goddard car, with the exception of Mr. Goddard, were thrown out. Mrs. Goddard and Mrs. Hoyt were taken to the hospital In the car of A. Mfc Boothe and later Mrs. Goddard was removed to her home. In the other car were Mr. and Mrs. George Brown and daughter, James Brown and wife and Mr. and Mrs. M. Ward. The latter required medical attention. It was said that Mrs. Ward had a severe cut in the left leg which required several stitches to close. The members of the Brown party were able to proceed to their homes. |
