Show FORMER MAJOR COMMITS SUICIDE BISMAE.CK, N. D., Dec. 21. The body of Major E. R, Orchard, dressed In an army uniform, was found in his room at a local hotel today with a bullet hole through the heart. At his side lay a 3k -caliber revolver. A coroner's inquest found that death apparently was due to a bullet wound self-inflicted. No reason for the act could be assigned by relatives. rela-tives. Orchard served two years with the American expeditionary forces and since his return here several months ago has been engaged In a paving project. Prior to the war he was a state deputy bank examiner. |
