Show JUDGE TO SOLVE IDENTITY PUZZLE CHICAGO, Dec. 23. Judge Brentano of the superior court was asked today to decide de-cide the puzzle of a woman's identity. The woman, who says she is Mrs. J. L.. Sepulveda, from a good family in Kansas City Mo was arrested yesterday and held as "Mrs. L. C. Biair," who is wanted in Pasadena, Cal., for alleged passing of bogus Wells, Fargo & Company checks. According to Attorney Robert E. Cant-well, Cant-well, Jr.. the woman says she never was in Pasadena. Attorney Cantwell, who will ask a habeas ha-beas corpus writ from Judge Brentano, said that he could prove that the woman was not In Pasadena at the time the checks are said to have been passed. |
