A wholesale price of l.2w cents a pound, less 2 per cent for cash, was announced here today bv B If Howell Son & Co. as the tirst ouotation for granulated sugar refined from the new crop of raw Cuban sugar. This contrasts with a price of 9 cents a pound, less 2 per cent for cash, for granulated from the old Cuban crop, and was said to indicate a retail price 01 between 17 and IS cents a pound.
