Show MANY WOMEN WOULD SPEED PEACE TREATY -Several Salt Lake women called yester-clny yester-clny at the headquarters of the Women's Nonpartisan league on the mezzanine of the Hotel Utah for copies of the resolution resolu-tion asking congress immediately to ratify the league "of nations covenant and peace treaty as drawn at Versailles. According Accord-ing to Mrs. John C. Cutler, in charge of the headquarters yesterday, she was surprised sur-prised how many Utah women trudged through the snow to attach their signatures signa-tures to the resolution. One Salt I,aker, Mrs. Parmlee Brown Hays, asked for three large sheets, which she said she could easily fill with signatures of women favoring the movement. Mrs. J-I . G. I-lorne. chairman of the league, said many women also called on Miss Josephine Spencer, secretary of the league, whose office is at the Deseret News, to either attach their signatures or obtain, copies of the resolution. |
