Show ASKS CO-OPERATION OF OIL INDUSTRY NEW YORK, March 14. Continued cooperation co-operation between the oil Industry and the government on a peace baBls, with the value of the war efforts of the industry as a guide, was urged in a letter from Fuel Administrator Administra-tor Garfield to the national petroleum war service committee read here tonight at a dinner din-ner in honor of A. C. Bedford, the committee chairman, who has just received the decoration decora-tion of the Chevalier of the Legion of Honor from the French government. Mr, Garfield said- the oil industry was justified justi-fied In "claiming a place among the few great basic industries which furnished the supplies sup-plies necessary to winning the war." |
