Show ELTXONSOLIDATED HAS BIGIOIIGS The Boston Ely Mining company. Smoky Development company and" Elv Northern Copper company have been consolidated con-solidated by S. H. Williams into the Boston Bos-ton Ely Consolidated Mining company. The capital is $1,000,000. shares $1 par, says the Mining and Scientific Press in its Nevada review. About 250,000 shares will be held in the treasury. Cash amounts to $150,000. There are no debts, bonds or notes. L. E. Whlcher of New York has had the properties examined. The Elv Northern is said to have a fine deposit of carbonate ore. Work is to start in the Smoky on a sulphide vein found in the long crosscut tunnel.- Nevada Consolidated has reduced operations op-erations to iO per cent of capacity. The mill works five days per week. The smelter is catching up on the accumulation accumula-tion of ore and concentrate. Nevada Consolidated Copper company pays 372 cents per share, or $749,796, on March U. This is a reduction of 3TVa cents. The Yellow Pine company Is storing its zinc concentrate, but is shipping lead. The mill is to be altered and a calcining plant erected. The Jarbidge center apparently has a good future. The Eikoro Mines company, E. A. Austin general manager, started Its 200-ton mill on March 1, 191S, and it has continued running ever since- Rolls are used for grinding when the pulp goes to the cyanide plant. A $:X) average is said to be maintained. This company owns the Longhike claims, including the Log Cabin, Laurel, O. KL. and Starlight groups, also a controlling interest in the Jarbidge Jar-bidge gold and the North Star claims and several others. The ore being treated is from the Longhike mine. The owners of the Bluster mine and mill have completed plans, and will erect a cyanide plant as soon as weather conditions con-ditions permit. The Jarbitlge Nevada Mining company of Tacoma, owner of the Legitimate mine, is having 300 pounds of its ore tested at Salt Lake City, with the idea of erecting a flotation plant. The saving by flotation flota-tion is not as good as that made by cva-nidation cva-nidation when treating Jarbidge ores. This may be due to the colloidal nature of the ore. |
