Show Colorado Needs 750,000 Lambs for Feed Lots Colorado lamb feeders were so busy getting in their crops during the past month that only within the last few days have they had time to go to the market at Denver to secure their supplies of lambs for their feed lots. , They discovered dis-covered that the big end of the lamb crop from the range had already gone to the eastern markets, and they are search- g ing frantically now for supplies. At the Denver market I buyers are swarming and prices have been going up stead- I ily until the Denver market is now the highest market iu the country. At the river markets there has been an oversupply and eastern feed lot men have been well filled up. Ihe demand in the east is now very light, while at Denver the demand was never so strong as at the present time. It is estimated that 750,000 lambs are wanted at once by Colorado feeders, and range shippers are assured of top prices and excellent ex-cellent service on that market. With the scarcity of feeders on the market the feed lot men have suddenly developed an eagerness that did not exist two weeks ago. They have just realized that the supply of lambs is limited. Western lamb shippers arc urged to try the Denver market with their shipments, ship-ments, and good prices wit ha strong demand are certain on that market.
