Show ARRAIGN AN ALLEGED ATROCITY APOLOGIST Bias Staelder of Price was arraigned yesterday before United States Commissioner Commis-sioner H. V. Van Pelt on the charge of violation of the espionage act by declaring declar-ing that the Germans had a perfect right to sink the Lusitania and that no sympathy sym-pathy should be extended to the women and children of Belgium and France who had suffered through the atrocities of the kaiser. He is further charged with having hav-ing said that if the war is won by the Germans, and he hoped that it would, the Liberty bond issued by the United States government would have no value. Staelder pleaded not guilty and his preliminary pre-liminary hearing was fixed for October 29. |
