Show M MOTHERS WILL MEET flJULTIMORE The War Mothers of America is a permanent per-manent organization and the initial meeting meet-ing recently held at - Bvansville, Ind., will . go down in history as one of the most important gatherings of its "kind ever held' in the United States, according to Mrs. William C. Jennings. 1205 Second avenue, who returned esterday from the east. Mrs. Jennings, who is secretary secre-tary of the Utah War Mothers, accompanied accom-panied Mrs. Selden Clawson, hintorian of the local organization, to the K vans-vine vans-vine convention. "'Thirty states were represented at the first meeting of the war mo triers," M is. Jennings said last night, "Many honors were showered on Utah, which included the naming of Mrs. Clawson as treasurer treas-urer of the national organization and the conferring of a vice presidency an M rs, John Q. Cannon. 1 was named to act on the comrniitee to riiaw up the articles of incorporation and by-laws. "The work of the organization will be divided into five districts, as follows: Atlantic, Central. Southern. Rocky mountain and Pacific. Sa't Lake w as made the center of th- Rooky mountain district. Utah and Montana wre the only western states to Bend representatives representa-tives to the Kvansvilie convention, but it is predicted that every state In tl:e Rocky mountain and Pa cifie coast districts dis-tricts will have delegates at the next convention, which is to be held in Oc-tobocer, Oc-tobocer, 191. at Ha ltirnore."
