V. Marsh, federal fed-eral labor mediator; ! C. Graseer of the electrical workers union and W. M. Knerr of the stp.te industrial commission. Asced- for a statement as to th developments de-velopments of the day with regard to the controversy between the Utah Power & Light company and the electrical workers' union, neither would say anything any-thing except that "there is absoluteiy nothing to give out fit thin time.'-' It is understood that while Mr. Maun came to Salt Lake in connection with the recent dispute between the Mountain Moun-tain States Telephone company and its employees, he Is now awaiting authority from Washington to altempt a settlement ; of the Utah I'ower & Light company's 1 difficulties with its employees.
