Show WELSH ORPHAN FUND PROGRESSING WELL Upwards of 55000 Has Been Received So Far; Drive Is on for $10,000. Secretary John James of the Utah-Iilaho Utah-Iilaho Christmas fund for widows and orphans in Wales, yesterday received a wire from Gwilym S. Thomas, national secretary at Pittsburg, Pa., saying thai the responses to the committee's appeal had been both generous and liberal. Uywards of $.3000 had boen received in donations np to December 6, and Mr. Thomas said it was the committee's aim to reach tho sum of $10,000. Yesterday's mail brought to Secretary Secre-tary .Tames a further contribution of $112.65 trora residents of Salt La-ke ('ity; "Wales. Sanpete county, and Cedar City, Iroa county.
