Draft registrants in Salt Lake county are to have free legal advice at any and j all times, according to Assistant State 1 Attorney General James H. Wolfe, chair- man of the executive committee of the 1 county advisory board. j Jlr. Wolfe is sending out to nearly 300 attorneys in the county notification of, their assigned dates of service, together j with an oath, which is to be executed and returned to the office of the Utah adjutant ad-jutant general. The oath, Mr. Wolfe says, may be executed before any federal or state official authorized by the laws of the United States or of the state of j which he is an official to administer oaths generally, or by any member of a local or district board. Accompanying instructions follow: Under the new system of classification classifica-tion for the national army, the Drefi-dent Drefi-dent requests that you serve in aiding aid-ing registrants to answer the prepared pre-pared questionnaire and in advising registrants as to their rights and duties under the law. If, by any urgent exigencies, you are unable to attend on the days named, notify Benjamin E. Rich at 60s Boston building, telephone Wasatch Wa-satch 126-?, at the earliest possible moment, in which rase you will be later assigned to other dates. 1 The president's plan of enlisting the attorneys to assist in raising the national army will fail unless there i is a practical unanimity in accepting and serving on the dates assigned. Registrants will also be informed that the services of attorneys on other days may he had gratuitously by applying to them at their offices.
