Show EAGLES BUY GREAT BLOCK OF BONDS Subscribe for Million Dollars' Worth of Government's Liberty War Loan. Deslroua of stimulating its membership member-ship to the highest ideals of citizenship and lovalty to country, the grand aerie of the Fraternal Order of Eagles ha? pledged subscriptions to the Liberty loa-i'fmr aggregating $1,000,000 from its membership member-ship and has made special provisions to care for members who may go to the front, according to a circular letter received re-ceived here yesterday by H. S. McCann, secretary of the Salt Lake aerie, No. 67. In the circular, which was sent to all aeries bv Rex B. Good sell, grand worthy president of the grand aerie, all members are urged to register Immediately for service ser-vice under arms and to assist in every manner possible in the enrollment for military service. In order that those of the membership who mav be sent to the front may know that their families are being cared for the grand aerie has issued instructions to all local aeries that the dues of such members as may enlist are to be assumed by those who remain at home. In addition, addi-tion, a patriotic fund Is to be subscribed by the entire membership, from which Is to be paid the premium upon a life in-surence in-surence policy of $1000 payable as an additional ad-ditional death benefit to members losing their lives in any branch of the military service. |
