Until introduced .by this firm the Diamond T was almost unknown un-known here, so that the interest it has awakened is truly striking, declares Mr. Sharman. "We are now blazing the way for the Diamond T," he said, "making known its record elsewhere and the reason why it is particularly well adapted to all kinds of hauling in this territory. It isn't hard to convert a man to'the Diamond T idea when once he learns the history of the truck. "The Diamond T is manufactured in Chicago by the Diamond T Motor Car ti. company. It was designed by C. W. m Tilt, and as presented to the public V today is the result of eleven years of of experimentation and manutacturing experience. 4 ' The first Diamond T trucks were fut on the market seven years ago. t is a tremendous fact in favor of the Diamond T that not a tingle machine, even among the first put into service, has ever worn out. And the Diamond T company stands ready to show by figures that the maintenance cost is as low as any other truck of the same capacity on the market. Mr. Tilt broke away from the long established custom of making one or two essential truck parts standard and the others of interior grade.
