Show IE5 1 OUTLOOK OF lira STJIH Superintendent of Property Makes Detailed Report to Stockholders. Hsrry I.. Parker, superintendent of the Antelope Star mine of Beaver county, in 1 response to request from the management, manage-ment, has made a signed report of existing exist-ing conditions and the outlook. In part, Mr. Parker says: i The development has resulted favorably and we are now shipping the lirst car of lead ore to show the possibilities of the property. The ore is of high-grade milling quality and I find that the mineral area exceeds ex-ceeds my previous estimates bv 100 per cent; also noilng that veins and beddings are double in number. On my previous examination time was very limited, but I am now anle to trace out ear-h individual vein Independently In-dependently and note Its Intersection with others. On the surface the mineral min-eral showing at these intersections is very heavy; in a great many places hundreds of tons of mill ore have overflowed and been deposited. The property, as It stands today, is a large milling proposition. Its mineral min-eral area is so great that those who owned the property previously could not concentrate their efforts on any one place, hence the numerous shafts showing great resources of milling ore. In taking charge of the property I found that former operations had been conducted in an economical manner. Ninety-seven per cent of the money spent went into the development develop-ment work, driving tunnels and blocking out ore. Instead of the erection erec-tion of costly buildings and the purchase pur-chase of machinery. |
