Show FIFTH INCREMENT OF DRAFT ARMY NAMED Ordered to Leave Saturday; Fifteen Substitutes Sent to Replace Rejected Men. Nineteen men comprising the fifth increment in-crement and the final 15 per cent from division 3 of this city m the fir-it draft for the national army, fifteen substitutes sub-stitutes to take the places of those rejected re-jected at Camp Lewis for physical reasons rea-sons and three alternates, were yesterday yester-day namd by tho local board of that division, with headquarters at the state capitol. Following is the list of names of those who are ordered to entrain next Saturday for Camp Lewis, American Lake, Wash., there being thirty-four iu all: Emil Ferris, "Roy Rothlisburg, Charles L. Thomas L. Allen. Ben-iamin Ben-iamin H. Sloan. Flovd Koontz, Georre F. McPbail, Robert E. Bohrer, Jay M. Christensen, Johu Vreeken, Reuben C. Littleford, Clarence A. Jackson and Frank W. Squires. Three alternates to take the places of possible absentees are designated as follows: fol-lows: Washington I. Snow, Samuel A. Mellarg and Harold J. Hyde. The per capita subscription of the Forty-second infantry to the second Liberty Lib-erty loan was $61.92, according to an official of-ficial statement posted at post headquarters headquar-ters yesterday. Out of a total strength of 1355 men There were 1116 subscribers, with a total suhsi-rlption of $95,250. . The per capita subscription of the Twentieth infantry was $5-. 50. A total of 96S men out of 1S20 subscribed $95,550. The per capita subscription of the Fortykthird infantry was 544. Ml. A total of $71 men out of 1513 subscribed 1(71,600. |
