Students of the University of Utah are waiting with keen interest for the pushball contest between the freshmen and sophomores this afternoon. It is probable that the sophomores will be painted liberallv with red paint and the freshies with gfeen, in order that tho sides will not become contused. Tho struggle will begin promptly at i o'clock, at which time fifty members of each class will be lined up at opposite oppo-site ends of the football field. The ball will be placet in the center of the field, and the two teams will charge at a specified signal. The idea is to push the ball over the opponents' goal line. THe freshmen have been instructed to appear on the field at the proper time, and a committee of the class will then' select fifty of them to battle for the first half hour. Another fifty will be sent in for the second half. |
