Show COTWICTED HOCKIN SEEKS FOR PAROLE LEAVENWORTH, Kau., Sept. 22.' Herbert S. Hockiu of Detroit, former secretary of the Ironworkers' union, convicted in the dynamite conspiracy cases, was among the 200 prisoners who appeared before the federal parole board when it, convened at the United States penitentiary here today. Hockin was the only one of 'the thirty-three men convicted in the- dynamite dyna-mite cases who did not appeal from the decision. Four men convicted in the Terre Haute' election conspiracy cases also applied ap-plied for paroles. They are William Crockett, former superintendent of the5 city crematory; Hilton Redman, a son of Eli Redman, judge ., of the circuit court: Elmer E. TaLbott, city controller, and John E. Green, a merchant. All are serving two-year terms. |
