Show WESTMINSTER BOARD IN ANNUAL SESSION Expense Budget for tbe Ensuing Year Adopted and Other Business Transacted. The annual meeting of the board of trustees of Westminster college was held on Tuesday evening at Ferry hall. There was a full attendance of the directors di-rectors and trustees of the school, among whom are several business men. and ministers min-isters of Salt 1-ake and others from different dif-ferent parts of the state. After receiving the annual report of the treasurer, the trustees adopted the expense ex-pense budget for the new school year, which begins this month. The budget calls for several thousand dollars more than was expended last year. The annual an-nual report of the college, showing an increase in-crease in enrollment of more than 40 per cent over the year preceding, was authorized author-ized to bo sent to the Presbyterian college col-lege board at New York' City, which is giving about $2500 this year toward tbe support of the institution. The committee on election of new trustees trus-tees was appointed, and it is expected that the trustees whose terms of office expire in October of this year will be re-elected. These trustees are: H. G. MacMlllan, W L Brown H. h. Ba vnes and W. C. Orem of Salt hake; Dr. X S. Gordnu of Ocden. and the Rev. George W. Martin. O. D.. of Mantl. |
