Show Events of Coining Week Miss Mercy Lewis, an October bride, will be the guest of honor at a number of social functions this week. Mrs. Joe! Nibley will entertain with a reception from 4 to 6 at her home on Canyon road for Miss Lewis. A buffet luncheon will be given Wed nesday by M rs. Joseph Nibloy in honor of Miss Lewis, and she will be guest of honor at u luncheon Thursday to be given by Mrs. Horace Whitney. The A. F. club will be entertained Thursday . afternoon by Mrs. L. M. Blackmarr, 225 Edith avenue. The women of the Democratic and Progressive parties will give a card party at the Hotel Utah tomorrow afternoon. after-noon. m The Cypress Bridge club' will bo entertained en-tertained by Mrs. J. W. Hughes Thursday Thurs-day at her homo on B street. Luncheon will be served at 1 o'clock with bridge following Miss Margaret Crowley will entertain the Tama Yatna clnb with a dancing party Tuesday evening at the B. B. hall. Sixty invitations have been issued. One of the interesting social events of the week will be a bridge tea to be given Saturday afternoon at tbe Ladies' Literary clubhouse by the literary committee com-mittee of the club for the benefit of the I library. |
