Show TDNOPAH BELMONT BECLKGIIE! Company Recently Shipped 64 Bars of Bullion Valued at $87,500. Special to The Tribune. TOXOPAH, New, Feb. IS. The Tono-pah Tono-pah Belmont Development company has declared the quarterly dividend of V2 j cents, payable to stockholders of record March 15 and April 1. The books will close on March 15 and reopen March 23. The news of the dividend was telegraphed here today from the eastern offfcts. Sixty-four bars of bullion have been sent out by the company as the result of the clean-up of the mill for the last two weeks in January. They weighed 12S,7ti:i .ounces. The estimated value was $S7,500. This estimate was based upon the present low prtco or" silver. No concentrates were shipped. A number of tho workings In the mine are in good ore au.l the results of the development de-velopment work now bein carried on are reported by the management as good. A very good grade of ore Is being developed on the 900-foot level of the Oeseret Queen in what Is known as raise No. 14. It is being driven up on the Favorite vein. On th Belmont vein at the SOO-foot level of the Belmont shaft the cast drift is showing a full face of ore. Good ore is also exposed in a number of the workings work-ings on the 3 000-foot level. A full face of ore Is showing in ruiee No. 3j on the Mizpah Fault vein. From the west slope on the Favorite vein the new raise is showing" a full face of ore. A new drift to the east on this same vein shows a full face of ore. A rich narrow face of ore is showing in the east drift on the Lillie Bell vein off the 1100 -foot level, on which work has recently been resumed. Raise Xo. 55 on the Mizpah Fault vein has cut a number of smnsers of ore. One of these, fifteen inches in width, Is of high-grade. Down on the ISO)-foot level there is a full face of good ore in the west drift off the raise on the Belmont vein. |
