CALICO BALL TO BE GIVEN ON NOV. 14 Daughters of Utah Pioneers and. Other Similar Societies Arrange for Unique Entertainment. Arrangements havo been completed for the "Grand Calico Ball," to bo given in tho Bishops building Novem-bor Novem-bor 14 by the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, the Daughters of the Mormon Battalion and the Daughters of the Handcart Pionoors. Tho ovening's entertainment en-tertainment will opon with a programmo to be given between 3 and 8:80 o'clock. Calico costumes will predominate, the committees in charge explaining that tho costumes may bo of any style except ex-cept "hobble aond slit skirts." Those who do not want to wear calico dresses have boon informed that they may appear ap-pear in their "ordinary party drosses."
