OCR Text	Show SHORT CONTINUANCE IS TO BE GRANTED A short continuance of tha case of tho state against Minnie Eckman, charged with tho murder of her own daughter, probably will bo ordered when the case ib called for trial Monday moraine in tho district court. The district attorney, E. O. Leather-wood, Leather-wood, said yesterday that while the state was ready to proceed he understood under-stood counsel for Mrs. Eckman wero cn gaged in tho trial of another case which would not bo completdd in time to permit per-mit their presence in court in tho Eck man case Monday. A continuance of several days on this account will not be opposed by tho district attornov.
