Nov. 1 One of the delightful delight-ful aftaiis of the week was a Halloween party given at the homo of illss Effle Kent, 339 Patterson avenue, Friday evening. even-ing. Tho house was beautifully decorated In orango and black, and jack-o'-lanterns peeped from all the dark corners, with a witchos' camp completing the decorations. Each guest upon entering was given the glad hand by ghosts of unknown origin. The time was spent In games and music until tho "wee sma' hours'' of the morning. morn-ing. At 11 o'clock covers wore laid for thirty. Ilss Kent was asslstod by the Misses Browning. Loo and James and Mrs. A. T. Wood.
