A renewed endeavor en-deavor is being made to induce Lloyd-George Lloyd-George to visit the United States. Last year the chancellor was invitod to open the Welsh-American eisteddfod at Pittsburg, but the present offer has come in an even loss attractive guise. Encouraged by tho success which has followed tho efforts of Mr. Bryan on tho lecture platform, an American firm of managers has offered Mr. Lloyd-Goorge Lloyd-Goorge $100,000 if he will take tho lecture lec-ture platform after tho manner of Mr. Bryan. This is not the first offer of tho kind that has reached tho chancellor, and thero has bocn moro than one suggestion sugges-tion that ho should turn his talents, in a financial-commercial direction, as his old friend, Lord Murray, has done.
