Show BtW CDMP1Y WILLJM APPEAL Presiilent of Concern Discusses Dis-cusses Judgment Rendered Against It at Ogden. That tho Zion, Oo-oporativo Home Building nnd Ileal Estate company of this city will appeal to tho suprome court from tho decision rendered against it Friday b' Judge J. A. HoTvell, in Ogden, -was tho emphatic statement yesterday of George E. I?om-noy, I?om-noy, prosident of tho company. Mr. liomnoy said: If soiling a part of our stock was an offense, Mr. Taylor and I plead guilty. However, -we felt that wo had a perfect right to do that if wo bo desired. Tho amount wo sold was credited to our accounts ac-counts on tho books of tho company, com-pany, and that is all there was to that transaction. There has never beon a company organized with cleaner hands, for whon the corporation was organized a copy of tho original articlos wero furnished to onch stockholder, and containod just what tho assets of the company were, describing by motes nnd bounds nil the real os-tato os-tato owned and all othor assets maldng up the then paid capital stock. Tho company was originally capitalized capi-talized for $250,000, and when $200,000 worth of the stock was sold tho directors decided that tho balance of tho stock then in tho treasury would bo distributed prorata pro-rata as a stock dlvldond. Each one of tho Ogdon stockholders, with one or two exceptions, received his stock dividend. "Wo hope that overy oorporntion is in as healthy a condition as this company, and wo havo tho fullest confidence that tho reflections cast upon ua will bo removed boforo wo got through with this mattor. |
