Joseph Murray, chauffeur for Hcbcr Scowcroft, millionaire merchant of Ogden, was instantly killed and Arthur Brown and Miss Ruth Shaw, both of Ogden. Murray was caught under tho overturned over-turned car and crushed to death. Brown and Miss Shaw were hurled clear of thc car and escaped with minor Injuries. Miss Shaw is the daughter of one of Hie most prominent Ogden families. Brown is employed as a drug clerk In the Can-Drug Can-Drug company here. The party left Ogden last night for a Lour of the country roads In tho west end of thc county. Thc car veered to thc side of the road and shot without warning over a ten-foot embankment, turning turtle. Murray remnincd at the wheel and was crushed beneath It.
