Show TOUCHES LIVE WIRE WITHFATAL RESULT Workman Terribly Burned by Heavy Electric Voltage Dies Soon Afterward. Special lo The Tribune. OGDEN, June 28. Lawrence Hogge, 2n years of age, was fatally burned this nfternoon by coming in contact with wires carrying a heavy voltage. Hogge touched the wires about 1 o'clock and at 6 o'clock he died of his hurts. Hogge was employed by Jackson & Lcjvondahl, contractors, at the substation of the Merchants Electric Light company. In a manner not explained, Hogge came In contact with live wires carrying a voltage of about 2500. His shoulder and left leg were terribly burned, and he also received other burns about the body. Ho was taken to the Dee Memorial hospital, hospi-tal, whoro he died at (i o'clock. Hogge's relatives live In Iowa. They were notified by telegraph of tho accident. acci-dent. The funeral will probably bo held Friday from the Fifth ward meeting house. |
