Show LEONARD II HI OF THE CULLEN HOTEL Ho Takes Over the Hostelry as Trustee for Matthew Cullen. The Cullen hotel, which for years has been conducted under the able proprietorship proprie-torship of John Condron, who died last Saturday, has once more changed hands and will bo operated from today on under un-der the guidance of Fred J. Leonard, as trustee for Matthew Cullen, tho owner. Mr. Leonard, formerly a member of the board of public works and at present a prominent land promoter of this city, assumes as-sumes his new duties today. Since the death of Mr. Condron, who was proprietor of the establishment under a long lease, his wife, Mrs. Lavina L. Condron, has been prostrated with grlof. Unable lo give her attention propertly to the business, she gave up the lease. At 'a meeting of those interested in the establishment, es-tablishment, Matthew. Cullen and others, it was ilocided to appoint Mr. Leonard as trustee, who will in the future virtually virtu-ally be the proprietor of the hotel. Mr. Loonard said yesterday: "Thlbchange will In now way alter the present, staff of the hotel. "W D. Ahem, who has been connected wilh the business busi-ness for two years or more, and who during the last few days prior to air, Condron's death acted as manager, will continue In that capacity with his former assistants. We aro determined to make what improvements that may be necessary neces-sary to tho establishment and will operate oper-ate on as firm a basis as ever. Wo expect ex-pect business to Increase and will make every possible effort to conduct the hold ho-ld on the same high, clean standard that has marked its business in the pat.
