Notice Is v hereby given bv the city council of Salt Lake City of the Intention Inten-tion of such council to make the following fol-lowing described Improvement, to wit; To grade, and pave with asphalt (said asphalt pavement to be seventy-two (72) feet wldo between curbs, and nine and one-half (9i) Inches thl(.k). Third East street between South Temple and Third South streets, In paving district No. 27. and defray the abutters' portion of the cost and expense tliL-riof. estimated at thlrty-nlue thousand six hundred ($39,600) dollars, or ten (510) dollars per front or linear foot of abutting property, there being 3960 feel abut tin? said "improvement, "improve-ment, by a local assessment upon tho lots or pieces of ground in the following described district, being the district to be affected nnd benefited by saiii Improvement, Im-provement, namely; The east side of lot's 1, 0, 7 and 8, block 73; tho cast sldo of lots J and 8. block 72: tho ea3t sldo of lots 1. 6, 7 nnd S, block 55. plat A; the west side of lots I and 5, block C3; the west side of lots 2. 3, 4 and 5, hlor k 50; the west side of Iota 4 and 3, block 49. plat B, Salt Lake Clly survey. The total cost of said Improvement Is estimated at forty-two thousand two hundred clchty-sovcn and 59-100 (512.287.7.9) dollars, of which sum the city's porl Ion in two thousand six hundred hun-dred eighty-seven and 59-100 ($2687.59) dollars, leaving thlrty-nlno thousand six hundred ($39,600) dollars to bo raised by local assessment. All protests and objections to the carding car-ding out of such intention must be presented pre-sented ln writing, staling therein lot and block, or description of property, to the city recorder, on or before the 7th day of February, 1910. being the time set bv said council when It will hear and consider con-sider such protests and objections as may be mado thereto.
