The case against Slegcl has been pending three days before Judge Pago Morris and will probably go to tho Jury Monday morning, Eugene V". Hughes, a Korean, who last week pleaded guilty to a slmilJv charge, was to havo been sentenced yesterday, but Judge Morris continued the date for sentence until Monday, largely on account ac-count of the fact that the case against Slegel did nut terminate yesterday. |
