Wheat was generally gener-ally easier today, fluctuating freely to a close a shade to 4c lower than yesterday. Corn and oats were much tlrmcr than wheat at any stag and closed at a mild advance. Provisions sagged materially tinder the Influence of lower prices of live' hogs. Bearish inlluences from various sources contributed to weaken wheat, the net decline de-cline being- from n. shade to 4c. The lluc-tuations lluc-tuations were from ic to lc. May covering cover-ing all fractional points between $1,092 and $1,102. At the close May stood at $1.10i. mio lower. New demand for the grain kept corn prices generally firm in spite of the weakness In the wheat market. Offerings Offer-ings were absorbed on all the weak spots and fluctuations varied from 2c to lc. May advanced during the day to 66Jc, ic higher than yesterday's close, after a. decline to 66i"c. The. volume of trade was moderate, and at the close May sold at 66?c. ic higher than the final prices yesterday. yes-terday. Oats followed the course of corn- and successfully resisted the weakening influence in-fluence of the wheat pit. May early in the day fell off to 462e. and later climbed to 46Jc. The close was generally llrm, with May at 466fff'4G3c.- Ac higher. In provisions, pork fell 30c below yesterday's yes-terday's closing prices other futures declining de-clining to a less dxtcnt.
