A similar finding was made by tho grand Jury of Multnomah county, Oregon, Ore-gon, which also Investigated the conditions. condi-tions. Tho Alaskan Insane are confined in institutions in-stitutions in Portland, maintained by the Sanitarium company, which. is under contract con-tract with tho interior department for. this purpose. ' Tho only criticism that the report makes of those Institutions refers to the Momingsido asylum, which, It Is said, Is overcrowded. This condition, It Is said, soon will be remedied by the construction construc-tion of additional buildings. |
