Show ROWLAND HALL PIANO PUPILS IN RECITAL A recital by tho piano pupils of Rowland Row-land hall, under the direction of Miss Gratia Flanders, was given at the First Congregational church Saturday evening. The pupils were assisted by tho Skeltoc quartette, consisting of George Skelion, William N.f Norris and Alfred Preso. The programme throughout reflected groat credit on the pupils and their Instructor. In-structor. Those taking part were the Misses T-Hliai) Nines. Frances Knox. Margery Howard. Maxlno Well, Elizabeth Colladay, Helen Case, Rosella Ellerbcck, Olive Wall, Frances Davis. Somcrs Tn-galls, Tn-galls, Allco Lytic. Sybil Walker, Dorothy Ingram. Bessio Callow, Darlinc Kimball, Nellie Wilkinson. Selma Knstor. Bertha Norton. Georgia Walker. Catherine Price. Elsie Bamberger. Naomi Hoffman, Dorothy Doro-thy Bamberger, Glen Walker, Grace Cowlc, Josephine Well, Geneva Savage, Bonnie Miller. Beulah Behlo and Gladys MfConaughy. Medals were awarded, the gold one to Miss Bertha Norton and the silver one to Frances Davis. Miss Glen Walker was to have received a silver medal, but because of several weeks' illness it was impossible. However, in recognition of her unusual work, she was presented with a bound copy of the Beethoven sonatas. The church was crowded with a largo audience, that displayed appreciation by many hearty outbursts of applause. |
