Tho Ephralm Gun club has arranged for the purchase of a tract of land west of town for a private pri-vate resort and tho site of a llrsl-class fishpond. This was decided upon at the dubs meeting at the office of Dr. Otto Xlelson last Sunday, and no time will bo lost in putting the plans into execution. execu-tion. To carry out tho plan, the club levied an assessment of 510 per member. As soon as the weather will permit, a large lishpond will he. constructed, which will later ho slocked with bass, 'trees and shrubbery will be planted. Tentative action was also taken on plans for the purchase of hind In one of the nearby canyons. This will be parked and will be the site of another lishpond. which Is lo be stocked with troul. Although Al-though these resorts will be private, they will bo" open to all members of the club and those who help by contributing to carrv out the club's plans. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Dr Otto Xlelson, president: pres-ident: John Gioavcs. vice-president: Ad Hanson, secretary and treasurer; A. G.
