Show MOTOR-PACED RACES ARE , NOW CAUSING TROUBLE The recent action taken by the X. C. A- under which the bicycle races at the Salt Palace are sanctioned, as regards tho suspension of cortaln riders for riding rid-ing on tho Wandamere motordrome, W. D. RIshel, acting representative of the F. A. M., which sanctions the races at the motordrome, Saturday addressed the following self-cNplanatory letter to C. L. Berry, local representative of the N. C. A.: . "Mr. C. L. Berry. Representative N. C. A.. Salt Lake City; "Dear Sir Upon request of Dr. J. F. Thornton, chairman competition committee commit-tee of the F. A. M., 1 am instructed to inform you that the rules of affiliation between the F. A. M. and X C. A. have been repeatedly broken by at least one track within your jurisdiction. That is the article referring to motorcycles. "In the future the F. A. M. will expect ex-pect all N. C. A. tracks within your jurisdiction to discontinue tho use of motorcycles in any manner whatsoever, unless sanction Is granted for same by the F. A. M. "I might add for your information that the F, A. M. Intends to carry out this clause and bar all bicycles from Its tracks In the future unless sanction for their use Is first obtained from the X. C. A, "As In the opinion of the writer, it Is important the riders of tho F. A. M. and N. C.
