Mrs. Abraham Johnson gave an alumni party on Tuesday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter of New York who aro visiting Dr. and Mrs. ISaohs of Fair-view. Fair-view. Mi's. Hilda Madson left on Thursday morning for Scotleld for a week. Judge and Mrs. Cherry of Gunnison have visited here this week as guests of tholr son and his family. Mrs. V. C. Jensen and sister, Mrs. Phillips, spent tho early part of tho weak Ui Springvillc. Mcsdamos Oscar Wall and R. A. Broad-hurst Broad-hurst entertained the Novel Idea club at tho homo of tho later to olect officers for tho coming year. Those chosen wore: President, Mrs. A. D. Sultcn; vice president. presi-dent. Mrs. K. A. Broalhurst: secretary and treasurer. Mrs. O. P. Wall. Delightful Delight-ful refreshments wero sci-vcd. Mrs. George Madson Is .spending a few weeks with her mother, Mrs. LJbby, in Paiiguitch. J. M. Brydon returned Wednesday from Ogden where he had boon for a week. H. C. Jacobs, manager of the Progress Mercanlllo company, returned on Thursday Thurs-day from Salt Lake. A Jolly party of sixteen young folks left on Monduv for the Uintah reservation for a week's camping, chaperoned by Senator nnd Mrs. John Sccly. Mrs. H. P. NIelBon left on Monday for Salt Lake to remain a month or six woeks. Mr. and Mrs. Hoy Neilson, accompanied bv Mrs. Neilson, father antl mother, Mr. nnd Mrs. Smith of Opliir returned from Salt Lake on Saturday. |
