Show I Little Girl Writes Stork to Send "Auntie" a Baby By Leased Wire to The Tribune. NEW YORK, July 30 Among the letters let-ters received in Commissioner Stover's office in the arsenal in Central park this morning was one from a little girl named Ethel Phllllpson. The letter Is addressed to "Mr. Stork, Central Tark, City," and Is as follows: "My Dear Mr. Stork Would you please bring-my auntie a little baby boy? I know you have had lots of letters from little girls for hablcs, I will be patient and wait for my turn. I am hero from Washington and would ltko to see my nuntle'iJ little baby, so try and bring It as soon as you can. My auntie has everything ready for It. Iter window Is on the south side. Her sister has a big basket for It. Her number Is G30 West 113th street. "ETHEL PIULLIPSON, "In Care of Mrs. C. D. Knapp." A postscript read: "Please send It soon; I will leave the basket outside the window." Mr. Stover says he has Informed Miss Phllllpson that ho has sent her communication com-munication to Mr. Stork and that Mr Stork sends reply that the mailer will surely be attended to. but that the young lady would havo to wait her turn. |
