Governor Brady returned to his home in Boise yesterday after sponding several days In the city looking aftor his political fences. In former for-mer times when Mr. Brady indulged In political maneuvers in this section of the state his movements were guided by one R. J. Hays, one of tho owners of the Franklin & Hays brewery here, and about tho shrowdest political manipulator In southeastern Idaho, but now these two gentlemen are never seen In company together to-gether and Mr. Brady look3 to an entirely different source for his advice and Inspiration. Inspir-ation. The governor Is looking well, has a hearty hand-clasp and, apparently, is In tho best of spirits. The political fortunes of Hon. Theodoro Turner are beginning to loom up after a long spell of peaceful repose. Ho has boon named as the Republican candidate before the primaries for stato senator from this county and bolng the only aspirant, as-pirant, will, therefore, be tho candidate of his party. Mr. Turner was formorly state auditor and served the people well by obstructing the most notorious graft over attempted In this state. Ho refused re-fused to Issue a warrant for the payment of the odorous graft known as the beet sugar bounty, and the same was never paid. This action was so distasteful to the political bosses that Mr. Turner was put on the retired list and has there remained re-mained until this year when tho direct primary law makes tho business too risky for such notables as J. Frank Hunt to venture out on the firing line. County Nominations. The nominations for the various county coun-ty offices have all been filed and tho primaries will be held on the 30th day of August.
