Show JAPANESE CHILD IS HURT IN EXPLOSION Special to Tho Tribune. OGDEN'. Jan. 5. An explosion of a frozen water-jacket leading from a cook stove at the residence of B. T. Nlshl-muru. Nlshl-muru. a Japanese merchant, early this morning resulted In Injuries to the Infant In-fant child of tho Japancso which may cause Its death. Mrs. Nishlmura arose this morning and. started a fire In tho stove and later returned With her baby in nor arms to see how the lire was burning. As she stepped Into tho kitchen the stovo exploded, throwing pieces. of metal through the room and blowing the door of the kitchen almost from the hinges. A piece of flying metal struck tho child In the head and it Is believed that Its skull Is fractured. Dr. Ezra Rich was summoned to attend the Injured child and reports Its condition to be serious. |
